Dr. Angela O'Brien, Dr. Liisa Hall, Dr. Andrew Hall Danvers,
MA.
I wanted to take the time to write this letter thanking
you again for being there for me.
I don't know what I would have done
if I had not understood what chiropractic care is all about. But thanks
to you, I knew what I needed to do.
I want to share this experience with
your patients.
I found myself at your door after seeing an orthopedic surgeon, going
through 3 months of physical therapy and then seeing a neurologist. I
was up to 16 Advil a day and was not getting better. The next answer
was surgery. I had numbness in my right arm which generated to my thumb
and index finger, and lots of pain in my lower back and neck. I was not
ready for surgery and that is when I started my care with you.
My first year was a full corrective program and since
then, I have been on a maintenance schedule of care. Well, even with
maintenance, sometimes we don't always do the right things. I had started
running, without doing the proper stretches, was sitting through long
car rides, and was also under a lot of stress.
I sneezed on Sunday which made my
lower back feel tight, and by Monday morning, I couldn't even roll over
in bed. That day was very frightening, I couldn't walk on my own and
any position was extremely painful. My first thought in panic was to
call 911. However, sanity hit for a moment, and I knew I needed to call
you. After 2 adjustments on Monday, I could roll over and I could walk
with some assistance. Tuesday, I walked very slowly on my own. Wednesday,
I walked down my spiral staircase on my own. And Thursday, I drove to
work and worked for 4 hours.
If I
had not understood the importance of your care, I could have possibly
ended up on lots of medication, maybe with a hospital stay,
and then maybe even surgery. I am so grateful to you, your
care and what you have taught me over the years.
Fondly,
Nancy
