I am writing to thank you for the outstanding care you took of our newborn
son, Paul. The relief you provided and the accompanying peace
of mind we received are immeasurable.
When we first brought Paul to you,
my wife was literally at wits end. Paul is breast fed, and he was having
a severe problem keeping his feedings "down".
From about ten minutes after he finished eating, he would
vomit. Not a little spit up, but by our estimation, it was
projectile vomiting. This was consistent with each feeding. You can
imagine our concerns. Not only for the health of Paul, but Lisa as well.
She was getting both physically and mentally drained.
We took him to see his pediatrician
(who is primarily a homeopathic doctor, as well as an MD). He prescribed
the remedy lycopodium, which had no effect on Paul's condition. He educated
us as to Paul's problem. It was not projectile vomiting, but rather a
reflux problem (his stomach valve was not functioning properly). He then
wrote a prescription for Propulsid, which also did not work. After questioning
him again, he said that we would have to wait until he outgrew his condition.
As you can imagine, this did not sit well with either of us.
I (as well as
my mother), mentioned that we should bring him to see you. You were kind
and said that you would be happy to come by the house if that made Lisa
feel more comfortable. Lisa reluctantly agreed. The results were immediate.
After a total of 6 visits, the problem was resolved -- completely.
Again, we cannot express our gratitude for
the care that you have provided. Many sleepless nights and stressful
days have been eliminated.
