I consulted with Dr. Billauer because I suffer from a condition called
fibromyalgia. I have severe chronic pain 24 hours a day 7
days a week, everywhere in my body, except my head, ALL THE TIME! I have
chronic fatigue syndrome, insomnia, restless leg syndrome and stomach
and digestive issues. I have felt the pain every single day for 6 years
for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, it felt very severe, as if my body
was on fire!
My previous treatments included acupuncture, massage, physical
therapy, chronic pain management, litocaine injections, tons
of medication, exercise and many more that I can't think of. None worked,
except some medications helped ease the pain, and so did the injections.
My medications included Ambien (sleeping pills), Ativan (anxiety), Vicodin
(pain), Prozac (because I became depressed), Provigil (energy) and many
more. Everyone instilled fear into me so I was aware and cautious, but
it became a matter of life and death.
I decided to try chiropractic when
a friend of mine saw an ad for a free consultation (not knowing it was
a chiropractor) and we thought, "What
did I have to lose. I had been to a chiropractor for a brief
period of time before, but it wasn't a good experience. At
first I was fairly skeptical, and wanted my questions answered right
away, however, once I met Dr.Billauer I truly agreed with and respected
his process.
Dr.Billauer recommended a very specific plan that was designed
just for me and my needs. It wasn't a one size fits all which
was nice, and it was dedication on both ends to make this
work and fix it. Well! Believe it or not, I am only on my
14 th adjustment, but by my 7 th adjustment, I was able to take HALF
of the pain medications that I have been taking everyday for years! That
was HUGE! I feel pretty good and can only imagine further future progress.
I
recommend, "if you are sick, suffering or in pain, that you get your
butt into Dr.Billauer's office, YESTERDAY!" Now that I'm enjoying the
benefits of chiropractic, I am wondering where the heck it's
been all my life and how come I'm just hearing about it now!?
