Dr. Boyd Williams Rochester, MN
My experience at the Chiropractic clinic was nothing short of
a miracle. After 5 Weeks of constant progressive low back pain, causing
excruciating pain into my hip, radiating down my right leg, I knew I was
facing serious consequences if I stayed with my present clinical program.
I
was treated at Urgent Care several times and the Emergency Room before
I finally saw a neurologist. She did extensive diagnostic procedures, concluding
a pinched nerve that could possibly require surgery.
I
started physical therapy sessions but each day my pain worsened and numbness
was spreading down into my right calf. During this entire time I was
on strong pain medication, plus over the counter drugs. Compounding my
back problems, I was anxious about the side effects of all this medication.
Several people asked me why I didn't look into chiropractic
care. I had never had back problems nor had anyone in my family,
so I had absolutely no knowledge of their capacities. A trusted
friend of mine referred me to a chiropractor. I was desperate for an
alternative choice and to be relieved of the pain, not to mention, to
get back my full time job of 12 years, in which I rarely called in sick.
I had already missed 2 weeks prior to going on temporary disability.
Before I met with
the chiropractor, I said a prayer for help, so that I wouldn't face a
future of back surgeries and long recoveries. My prayers were answered!
By the time I came for my 3 rd treatment I was totally off pain medication
and could feel my flexibility and wellness returning. I forgot what I
felt like before my injury, like a new person, returning to normalcy.
Now I have just to be careful not to overdo it
until I'm completely healed. It's like stifling spring fever to protect
myself. My family and I realize how much work I was doing, now that they've
tried to take over for me. We are all so grateful. For any type of skeletal,
muscular or nerve problems, I put my trust in these doctors
for myself and my family.
Thank you for aiding me back to good health!
