Taking The Right Steps
Alexis came to see Dr. French due
to having challenges walking without assistance. Alexis'
grandmother had spoken to another parent whose child was facing similar
challenges and had wonderful results under chiropractic care. Alexis'
grandmother wanted to try a different approach and scheduled an evaluation.
She
brought her in knowing that her care would be less invasive
than what Alexis has been through in the past. She had numerous medical
procedures that only created the need for more surgeries. Alexis had
to have corrective surgery which left her unable to put pressure
on her one leg because it caused her so much knee pain. This lasted almost
one year and she had to use a walker to get around. She stated care in
the fall and by Christmas eve, she was able to walk with little assistance.
She was able to maintain her balance with 1 hand and the
knee pain was gone.
After that miracle Alexis has been able to perform
other things on her own. One day after Alexis got an adjustment
she was sitting on the floor and got up by herself. She is walking with
little to no help at all now. Everyday and with each adjustment is another
step in the right direction!
Alexis has such a great positive outlook
on life and she continues to prove that there is hope out there. You
just have to realize and believe anything is possible.
