Chiropractors / spinal specialists usa

Dr. Chris Ehlich Greer, SC

In November 2000, I fell. Even though I was in pain, I thought I would be all right after a week or two. After two weeks I was still in pain. I was unable to sit or bend. I had lower back pain and pain at the base of my spine. I went to a chiropractor and felt much better, but I was not committed to the long-term treatment. I quit. I visited a medical doctor. He prescribed an anti-inflammatory and physical therapy.

I followed his recommendations and took it easy for a month. When I began more normal activity, the pain returned. I visited a second doctor who recommended an MRI. The MRI showed a bulging disc. I took it easy for two more weeks, alternating doing what I could and lying down to rest, while waiting to see a third doctor. The third doctor didn't see anything serious. He said many people my age have a bulging disc. He suggested more physical therapy. I decided right then to find a chiropractor I trusted.

A friend told me about Dr. Ehlich, and I am thankful. I went for x-rays and an exam. Dr. Ehlich found nine subluxations, but gave me hope that he could help. I have been going to Dr. Ehlich since the end of May. I have experienced changes in my health, which I did not expect. For example, I have not had the swelling and pain in my knees as I sometimes had before. Also, my neck feels so much better. It is not stiff or sore from sleeping wrong. As for the symptoms from the fall...I am no longer in pain but I know I can't quit.

I still have subluxations, which are keeping my body from working properly. In fact, I have learned that subluxations cause me to be sick. I plan to continue to see Dr. Ehlich for adjustments. I will continue traction and my exercises also, because I want to keep improving for a healthier future.
