Chiropractors / spinal specialists usa

Drs. Steven and Camilla Franson Beverly, Massachusetts

I am the mother of four - a ten-year-old daughter and four triplet boys. I was looking for medical alternatives to control the asthma that two of my sons have. They have been on Albuterol nebulizers and Prednisone since they were two years old and having to use the medication with increased frequency. I personally have had problems with my back, degenerative arthritis and disc for the past ten years. I had seen orthopedic specialists, had physical therapy and saw a previous chiropractor, but was told if I lost weight and walked it would be better. It wasn't.

I originally made an appointment for myself and figured I would see how it went for me and then make a determination on whether I would send my children. I have found Dr. Franson to be a caring, kind compassionate and skilled practitioner. In my three months progress has been incredible. I have been able to participate in activities with my children instead of watching them from the sidelines. As examples, I squatted through five polar caves in July, went on roller coasters and other rides at Canobie Lake Park and Storyland; down Watertubes dozens of times inlluding climbing the stairs several times in August. I also went dancing two nights in a row for three hours each.

Before I began getting adjusted I would never have been able to participate. I would have just cheered my children on from the sidelines knowing that if and when I did participate I would be in extra pain for days later. I had pain daily that I resigned myself to live with. No more! I have had some pain free days, which I didn't think would have ever been possible. My children and my husband began getting their spines corrected as well. They too are progressing well. I was surprised to learn that they had subluxations and issues with curvatures of the spine at their young ages. I am hoping that with continued adjustments and maintenance they won't have the problems that I have had. I feel as a family we are on the road to happy healthy lives through healthy spines with less of a reliance on medications.

I am also grateful to the child-friendly staff that is able to deal with my three rambunctious bays. If the boys couldn't feel safe and comfortable here, than neither could I. God bless the patience of Dr. Franson and his staff for keeping us on the road to recovery. I hope that someday the medical profession wil be more accepting of chiropractic adjustments so that parents can make informed decisions on their children's healthcare.
