For most of my life I have had back problems and allergies. As a teenage I developed severe menstrual pain and cramps and knee problems. I couldn't do my favorite sports. I also couldn't eat in restaurants. The doctors put me on pills so I could function every month and survive allergy season. Sinus infections were friends who dropped in every month. My quality of life was not good.

I met Dr. Stephen Franson during my internship at the Cummings Center. He told me he could help me. My boss at the time, Bill, told me how chiropractic helped him. I agreed to go in for a spinal check. Dr. Jesse introduced me to chiropractic. Dr. Ross gave me advice and other information at the Foundations workshop.

It has been two months since my first visit, and most of my initial problems are gone. I no longer take birth control pills to control my cycle; I can eat foods that I used to be allergic to; environmental allergies no longer bother me; and my knee pain is gone. I will start martial arts at the end of May 2006.

My advice to you: bring your family members to meet your chiropractor. Ask them the hard questions about their lifestyles. And, last but not least, take them to a chiropractic workshop. I got my Mom to come in because I made her watch videos and DVDs of Dr. Franson's "Beat Sciatica" and "Advanced Nutrition II" workshops. Then I persuaded her to go to a "Foundations" workshop, the introductory chiropractic orientation. Good luck! I hope that you and your family experience the benefits of chiropractic care.
