Drs. Steven and Camilla Franson
Beverly, Massachusetts
Dear Dr. Franson:
This is my way of thanking you for all you have
done.
I was led to chiropractic care through Lance's "nothing left to lose" chronic
back. Somewhere I remembered hearing a cousin was in chiropractic
and if I were to succumb to it, perhaps a relative would be honest
about the potential for chiropractic to make it worse. It was 9/11/2001,
driving down Route 218 and hearing on the radio "a passenger plane
hit the World Trade Center." Arriving at your office for the first
time and there was no TV, no radio, no communication with the outside.
The girls in the office were quietly trying to get CNN on the internet.
Quiet voices. another plane hit the other tower, then the Pentagon.
I remember feeling so frustrated, mad, and angry that the office was "out
of touch" with the world. So what type of chiropractic recluse cousin
practiced here?
Six months later and through a few personal
crises I have entrusted in your care my husband, my son,
my daughter, my mother, some friends and myself. My son complained
of back pain and I told him he was too young to have a back
ache. My daughter was having difficulty motivating herself
and had frequent headaches, my mother had been nursing her back with
rest and heat while she cared for my ailing father, my friend fell
on her coccyx and despite X-rays and medication it always hurts,
and another dear friend with RA has just started to see you. For
myself, I was fine until I listened and heard that you are supposed
to be able to stand up after you brush your teeth and get out of
the car or a chair without feeling like there is a brick up your
butt. (Sorry, but that is what it felt like). I though this is what
my job and my age had done.
Since then, you have overwhelmed me, inspired
me, educated me, and supported me. You have hugged me when
I cried and when I laughed too. You have taken my family and friends
into your practice and nurtured them where they each needed it. Through
Total Life Conditioning, you are teaching us to recognize our
true potential and reach for the right to be healthy, physically,
and emotionally.
What you have done for me in 3 months (the first
three I was watching, listening and evaluating - or re-evaluating
- my original impression of chiropractic care) I consider now
a lifetime commitment to myself. My posture has changed, my diet,
my exercise, my HRT, goals of each day as well as the now most difficult
challenge of Present Time Consciousness. You have made me look at
my life and make positive changes with continued support.
I just want
you to realize how you have profoundly and positively affected
my life and the lives of some people very close to me. I have entrusted
you the most important people in my world and you have given
them the ability to take it one step further and empower themselves
to reach for their own personal beset. There is much to be said for
the power of chiropractic care, the power of the mind, and
the power of healing hands. Your continuing care, education, support,
and dedications and very much appreciated and have become a
part of our everyday life.
I look forward to chiropractic care reaching
its full potential in myself and those that surround me. We are all
a work in progress and you continue to challenge us as you do yourself.
Thank you for your commitment to us and to chiropractic care. I realize
that you are not alone in your efforts to help and teach and I also
want to acknowledge Dr. Camilla and Dr. Caroline as well as the girls
in the office who make each person feel welcome. You are all very
special people and I am glad our paths have crossed in life.
