Our Success Story

Prior to May of 1994 my wife Beverly has been seeing various medical doctors to no avail for a variety of tests to determine the cause or causes of her back pain, depression and the beginning of itching open lesions on frontal shin area of both legs. These tests included blood test, chest x-rays, sugar tolerance test, sonograms, and even heart catheterization. All test revealed nothing abnormal or causative to her problem.

We were considering going to another medical doctor to retest using different laboratory and testing facilities when she saw an advertisement/coupon for a chiropractic check-up and evaluation. We discussed it and I had successfully used chiropractic treatment for traumatic injuries several times many years ago. I told her all the medical doctors did at that time was to give me pain pills and when the pills stopped the pain came back. So we agreed she should try chiropractic treatment/ evaluation before doing the medical doctor test route again.

My wife responded favorably almost immediately in the area of back pain relief which allowed her to sleep and move around better thus reducing the strain and stress and depression. The itching lesions in the shin area of both legs also began to alleviate and healed in 2 to 3 months when previous 6 months of M.D. treatment and tests yielded no positive results and actually seemed to be getting worse.

At approximately the same time I changed positions at my place of employment and at the age of 52 began a job which requires three shifts per week of twelve hours duration three repeated days and occasionally four or five consecutive days. I lift and move 100 to 150 steel "spacers" averaging 70 lbs. to 80 lbs. each and climb on and off a large forklift and its 10ft. to 12ft. loads. Additionally there are precarious walk ways and many either twisting or turning or stretching actions to be accomplished per shift.

I have yet to date to miss time at work at all due to strains, pulls, and pain of the back or muscles, or joints which are rampant at this business. I attribute my good attendance and successful performance of very strenuous job to chiropractic treatment during this period of greatly increased heavy lifting, climbing twisting, stretching and pushing and pulling.
