I had been taking Zestril, which is a blood
pressure medication, for about 5 years. I had been informed
by medical doctor that my blood pressure was high. I had gone to the
doctor for a real bad cold. I was informed by the doctor that I should
be taking this medication to prevent a possible stroke. There were a
few side effects which I disliked. Dry mouth, and dry cough or Symptoms
of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness,
trouble breathing. These were caused by the medication. I took this
medication until the doctor decided to get out of private practice.
I
attended a new patient orientation with my husband Patrick,
in 1995 who was coming in to see Dr. Ramsey for his back. I was surprised
to learn how important it is to have your spine in healthy condition.
This is done with chiropractic care. I decided to give it a
try, since I had no medical doctor. I have been off the medication or
about 3 years. When I have had my pressure checked for any reason, it
has always been normal.
I am a true Believer in the benefits of chiropractic
care.
