Chiropractors / spinal specialists australia

Hakan Bilal of St Albans in the state Victoria,
Australia
Why would anyone want to see a Chiropractor? The usual answer
is something along the lines of "I've tried just about everything
else and this is my last resort."
In our case, visiting a chiropractor made lots of sense
when we suffered from some of the usual symptoms associated
with a sore back. Both Terry, my wife, and I visited a local
chiropractor when living in Brisbane some 12 years ago. At
the time we expected the same as most other people - a quick
trip and a couple of adjustments to relieve the pain. And
this is exactly what we got.
So why do we visit our family
chiropractor now? Well there are many reasons. About three
years ago, Terry was looking for a chiropractor to help with
her sore neck and shoulders - notice
I didn't say that Chiropractic was a last choice; rather
it was a first. A new practice had started on King's Road,
so Terry popped in to make an appointment.
Soon after the
initial visit, the whole family (Terry, our three children - Laura (15), Daniele (13) and Adriano (11) - and
me) became regulars at Dr Bilal Hakan's Practise.
Why involve
the whole family? Simply, Dr Bilal and all the Health Wise
Chiropractic team are about family and the community. As
a family we have seen how important it is to follow initial
treatment with ongoing care and maintenance. Our children
no longer complain of sore backs (resulting from scoliosis
and poor posture) or headaches and have been relatively free
of the usual winter ailments. Terry and I have changed many
of the everyday things we do as a result of the information
Dr B has shared with us - simple things like no wallet in
my back pocket when seated, reducing weight of Terry's handbag,
and adjusting the position of car seats. But, as I noted
above Dr B is not on about just treating symptoms.
As the
name of the clinic suggests, Dr B is concerned about his
community being health wise. For us, this has meant that
we (along with hundreds of others) have become part of Dr
B's 'family', not simply patients or clients. The team at
the clinic work together with 'family members' to improve
their health. This means that everyone works together to
improve physical and mental health - going into the practise
is like visiting family. In the end, it was this precept
that has kept us going to Health Wise.
If your Chiropractor
does little other than treat symptoms, I'd strongly recommend
that you look around and find someone who cares about the
whole you.
