Dr. Shane Hand Amarillo, TX

Jessica is 26 and profoundly handicapped with cerebral palsy. She was hospitalized in ICU for 7 weeks in May 2005. I asked Dr. Shane if he would come to the hospital to adjust her after we were told that she could not survive and would not live more than 2 hours after she was take off all support. She did continue to live and improve but started having seizures that required medication that would knock her out. She then could not eat or drink for more than 24 hours and I knew she could not survive since she was not even on an IV much less any seizure medication. Dr. Shane came every afternoon after the office closed and adjusted her and she began to improve remarkably. Then she started throwing up and

Dr. Shane told me it was because she had been so drugged and then taken off pain medication too rapidly. He also gave her a neck roll to be placed under her neck, similar to the wedge, at 5:30 every morning, when she seemed prone to a seizure. One afternoon he told me God had told him to adjust the sutures in her skull (where the bones come together). He had never done that type of adjustments but God had given him a "vision" of exactly how to do it. Jessica improved each day!

She was finally released from the hospital but the doctor said she could not live more than 2 weeks, certainly no more than 3 months. Dr. Shane absolutely did not agree! He and Dr. Jason adjusted Jessica everyday for a month at the office and she continued to get better. She also began taking Ambrotose. When she came home from the hospital, she had a dicubitus (bed sore) that was 3 or 4 inches in diameter and so deep it was in the nerves. She was also on a pain patch at an enormous level because her blood pressure was at stroke level indicating she was in terrible pain.

No antibiotic was prescribed for her because she was on hospice status. It has been 3 months since Jessica was released from the hospital. She takes nothing but Ambrotose and a muscle relaxer. She has almost no seizures and those are minor. Her dicubitus is completely healed, her blood pressure is excellent so she is now on no pain medication. She has gained 10 pounds. Dr. Shane is now adjusting her only 3 times a week. God is gracious and merciful and provides help! Dr. Shane and Dr. Jason are great men of God who give HIM al the glory.
