Drs. Andrew and Heather Harris, Collegeville, PA
"Well Suited to Chiropractic"
I have been a patient at Harris Family Chiropractic since October
2003. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical at first. On the day
of my first appointment the staff was dressed in assorted silly costumes
and the guy who was supposedly in charge was dressed like a hippie.
During
my initial consultation, I was told I had a slight "lean" to
the right. As a registered Republican, staunch advocate of lower taxes,
fiscal responsibility, individual freedom and a strong national defense,
I an often told that I do indeed lean to the right. Dr. Andy indicated
that the "lean" was certainly having an effect on my posture, and possibly
my overall health.
After three months of regular adjustments
I was feeling great; however I could not help wondering if I was making
any progress toward correcting the "lean" that I was informed of during
my first visit.
Last week I was in Richmond, VA, for a meeting
with a prospective client. As I was getting dressed that morning, I was
watching "American Morning" on
CNN (I prefer cable to local news channels). The show was
about the Presidential primaries held the day before. Once
I was satisfied with my tie knot and overall appearance, I put on the
jacket to my favorite blue pinstriped suit. As I gave myself a final
once over in the mirror, I nearly had a panic attack.
As I refocused on
the image before me, I realized that the sleeve on my jacket was about
three inches too short..the cuff on my shirt was
sticking out of the jacket like a subluxated vertebrae. I quickly realized
that my Chiropractic adjustments must have corrected my "lean", therefore
negating the meticulous alterations made to the suit when
I purchased it last year.
Despite the fact that I felt a bit
odd in my lopsided jacket, I was thrilled that I now had
tangible evidence of my spinal correction and ongoing recovery. Dr.'s
Andy and Heather and the entire staff of HFC have done a tremendous job
of returning me to my optimal level of health and well-being.
