Drs. Andrew and Heather Harris, Collegeville, PA
I came to Dr. Andy after he came to a Wellness Fair held at Ursinus
College. He was giving evaluations to the students at school,
and just by looking at my posture, he told me I was in bad shape. I knew
this, I was a sufferer of neck pain, migraines and at the time of the
evaluation I could not turn my head to either side fully. I made an appointment
right there to head to his office the next day. I started
at Harris Chiropractic this past November(2005) during their food drive
incentive - which was
a big help for a college student like myself. So I came in with my bag
of food, and got my evaluation and x-rays. The x-rays showed that at
20 years of age my neck was already curving in the wrong direction. I
had no idea and when I saw the x-rays I immediately realized that this
was a problem. I asked if this could be a cause of my chronic migraines
that I have had and been on medication for the past six years, which
Dr. Andy told me could be relieved with a chiropractic routine.
In the
past I only went to the chiropractor at home when I felt pain, and Dr.
Andy and his staff taught me that most of the time you do not even feel
the pain of the nerve being pinched, and that negatively affects signals
sent to other parts of the body. Dr. Andy had asked me throughout my
adjustment how my migraines have been and my answer has been the same
since November. I haven't had one! For someone who was used to living
a life with 4-6 migraines a month, not having a single migraine
in months can only fortify my belief in chiropractic care.
