My Chiropractic Testimony By Lowell G. (February, 2004)
In august, 2002
I was diagnosed with cancer. Following a surgery to remove the cancerous
prostate, the pathology report indicated that the cancer had already
spread ad that surgery had not removed all of the cancer. The next plan
was to do radiation treatment for 7 weeks after I recovered from the
surgery. In December, 2002 I lifted a heavy object and injured by back.
The pain down my right leg was so great that I could not sleep for more
than 30 min. at a time and I couldn't tolerate sitting at all. I didn't
know what to do. To have surgery for the back meant that I could not
do the radiation treatment for the cancer.
To do the radiation treatment
mean living in intense pain for three months. I chose the radiation and
then following recovery form that, had back surgery. The surgeon said
that the back could re-herniate and that the surgery may be only a temporary
solution.
Then, a friend who had experienced success with Dr. Rodriguez referred
me to Shoreline Chiropractic. Based on hi miraculous kind of healing
(in which he cancelled a surgery, and had the pain relieved due to chiropractic
care, I went to find out what Dr. Rodriguez could do. Wow! What a great
decision and I am so grateful for the referral, the treatments I have
received and the positive changes in my life. After less than a year
of chiropractic care, I have the following results: a back that feels
normal - not painful or weak, an energy level that is excellent, general
health improvement - I haven't missed a day of school this year and most
of the teachers and staff have all had a number of sick days, allergies
are under control, my posture is improved, I sleep more soundly than
I ever have in my life (nearly 60 years), and another exciting result
is that my PSA tests (that measure the status of cancer cells in my body)
has gone from 13.4 to 0.6 to 0.2 and in the last report to a level the
urologist called "undetectable cancer." He was surprised, because statically
my cancer case would show a growth in the cancer. Dr. Rodriguez
was not surprised. I am no longer surprised. I feel that the general
improvement in my health is now resulting in a healthier system that
can more effectively fight illnesses.
God has provided health and healing.
Dr. Rodriguez and his staff are ways that God answers prayers,
provides health ad teaches us to rely on God for all of our needs. It
is great to realize that God wants me to be healthy and that I have to
stop doing things that get in the way of God giving me health and start
doing things that allow God to heal and bless me.
