Drs. James and Jill Winget Raleigh, NC
Name: Cheryl Y
Major Complaint: Hyperthyroidism
Lower back pain and a stiff
neck were the main reasons I made a chiropractic appointment.
At the time, I was taking medication (5mg of tapuzole) for hyperthyroidism.
The duration of the neck stiffness and back pain was years
and the pain increasing gradually. The hyperthyroidism was diagnosed
in spring in 2002.
I did not see any other doctors for my neck and lower
back pain. The stiffness in my neck is gone along with the achyness
in my back. I can do household chores or field work in my profession
without pain. I would use over the counter medications for relief. I
still see an endocrinologist for my hyperthyroidism, my appointments
have been reduced from 3 months to 6 months and I have been off my medication
for a year.
