At the end of 2001 I suffered a compression fracture through
a fall. Usually it takes about 6 to 8 weeks to heal from a compression
fracture. 6 and 8 weeks passed and although the fracture had "healed",
I still felt tightness and discomfort in the injured area
for months, for almost one year after the initial injury.
I had heard
of Dr. Wong years ago through my hair dresser, but at the time I did
not give it much thought. I had concerns of going to see any chiropractor
for fear of being more harmed by the treatment rather than being healed.
My orthopedic surgeon whom I saw after the injury also advised me against
seeing a chiropractor.
In 2002 my friends
Kevin and Kim Darrough, knowing of my back condition encouraged me to
see Dr. Wong. I still was a little skeptical because of the time commitment
and financial investment but Kevin and Kim continued to encourage me
to try Dr. Wong. Praise God that they did not give up on the first try!!
I am so grateful that they helped me find a great chiropractor!
After going through the initial exams and meeting
Dr. Wong, I felt very confident that the Lord was putting
me in good hands in Dr. Wong's care. After seeing my first
x-rays I think what I felt is something many feel when they begin receiving
chiropractic care u "I wish I had started
sooner!" But I truly thank and praise God that I am now able to
receive chiropractic adjustments from Dr. Wong and his associates.
The
tightness in my back where I had a compression fracture went away almost
immediately. Before coming to Dr. Wong my neck and shoulder muscles were
almost always tight but using the pillows from Dr. Wong to support my
neck and under my knees when I sleep have helped tremendously, I no longer
wake up feeling tight and sore in those areas. My shoulders had a tendency
to curve forward but soon after I started getting adjusted I noticed
my posture was a lot straighter.
I have been
getting adjusted for about a year and a half. My initial x-ray showed
a reversed curve in my neck, but my last x-ray showed my neck starting
to move back into the curve that God created. I am so thankful knowing
that getting in the right spinal alignment will help me stay healthier
for life.
I wish everyone could receive this kind
of chiropractic care, it has been well worth the time and financial investment
and I would highly recommend Dr. Wong and his staff to anyone. Thank
you Dr. Wong for all your care and adjustments and for educating us as
well on all kinds of health matters like healthy food and supplements,
stretching and breathing, ergonomic furniture, etc. I thank God for you
and your integrity and character, your care and concern for your patients,
your commitment to excellence and your excellent chiropractic skills.
