My daughter Chelsey (7 years old) presented to Dr Yildirim
at Wanneroo Family Chiropractic in June 2004 with various
symptoms and was spending most of the time in sickbay or
lying on the classroom floor.
At school in August 2003, Chelsey
had sustained a minor head and neck injury in the playground,
and prior to this injury had not experienced any noticeable
health problems besides childhood illnesses. She was a healthy
girl, full of enthusiasm and vitality and was going well at
school.
After complaining of a sore neck and headaches 3 weeks
after the injury, I took her to our GP who found no problems,
and then to my local chiropractor who stated "C5" to be the
main problem and adjusted accordingly. She improved and did
not complain of a sore neck after that, but still was not the
same child as before. The chiropractic care continued for
3 weeks, but we moved house and discontinued due to distance.
As
her mother, I noticed a change in her posture. Once a very
upright child, I found myself constantly mentioning her slouching.
Then the headaches, nausea and stomach complaints, dizziness,
co-ordination problems, general vagueness and emotional instability
occurred. I took her to the GP who diagnosed allergies and
sinusitis, which she never suffered before. He then medicated
her on and off for the allergy over several months.
It was July
2004 that a friend mentioned the quality care provided by Dr
Yildirim and suggested that Chelsey be assessed. Chelsey was
assessed, x-rays taken and a care program undertaken. 3 months
later, Chelsey is back to her old self and on no medication
for sinusitis in springtime. She seems to be allergy free so
far and has no headaches, nausea etc. and her schoolwork has
improved substantially in the latter half of this year.
Her
posture has also improved and is more upright, and, most of
all, we hear no complaints and have no complaints with regard
to Chelsey, which was not the situation 3 months ago. My husband,
myself and our two other children are now all having chiropractic
care with Dr. Yildirim.
