Dr.
Allen Miner, Health Quest, Albuquerque, New Mexico
Elisa ~ August 26, 2004
I sought care because, after 3 sinus
surgeries, 1 ear surgery, chronic sinus infections, along
with chronic ear infections and ears filling with fluid,
asthma, and immune deficiency I decided to try chiropractic
care.
I began chiropractic care
with Dr. Miner in August 2003. I had been on several medications
and medical care since November 1998. Neither the medical
care nor the medications was working on a long term basis.
I decided to try chiropractic care, with much apprehension
after trying acupuncture, kinesiology, and other natural
methods. With the infections recurring almost every other
month, I was prescribed antibiotics and Prednisolone. I was
diagnosed with asthma (which I never had before) and was
diagnosed with an immune deficiency (never had before). I
believe the immune deficiency was because of all the infections,
antibiotics and steroids.
Since August 2003, when I began chiropractic
care, I have been on one bout of antibiotics, and at times
a small dosage of Prednisolone, I have had five doctor appointments
since January 2004; four of those were check-ups or follow-ups.
My IG levels are slowly improving, which means my immune
system is getting stronger. I had suffered nauseas-ness,
vomiting, dizziness, vertigo and I was also missing work
and missing my active and full life. I am a hot air balloon
pilot, and feeling sick had put a damper on my flying. In
2003, I flew only a total of 7.5 hours. By April 2004, I
had already logged that many hours, and I continue to fly.
The nausea, vomiting, dizziness and vertigo have virtually
disappeared, and I am taking one-fourth of the meds I had
been taking a year before. It is a joy to wake up in the
morning and literally not feel sick. Slowly, my health has
improved and Dr. Miner has made a believer out of me, that
chiropractic care does work and that your body can heal itself.
It is amazing to me that something so simple can work so
well!
I first asked myself how I could afford the time and money
to do what Dr. Miner offered. I now know I cannot afford
not to do chiropractic care. My only regret is that I did
not do this sooner. Both my doctor appointments and my prescriptions
have cut back tremendously. The best part is I am able to
function so much better and I can live my life, actively
in a healthy manner. You can’t put a price on that!
We so take health for granted, but I know without it, everything
else doesn’t matter much because you don’t feel
well enough to really care. I know all of this probably sounds
corny. I read some of these testimonial letters, and I wasn’t
sure how true they were and yes, they sounded corny to me.
Trust me, I feel like I was a poster child of ill health
and all of that has improved. Yes, I still have a ways to
go, as I was sick for many years, so it is going to take
time to be 100% or close to it. My world and my future is
brighter because my health is better and it took coming to
Dr. Miner, trusting in him and in the process of the chiropractic
care that he provides.
