I had always wanted to have a natural childbirth, but was never able
to because my spine was out of line. Dr. John found the damage
in my spine and fixed it. When my fifth one came around, my body was ready!
My labor and delivery was so text book - my midwife said she should have
videotaped it. I am not physically where I want to be. I
know that with all the information I have learned here not
just chiropractic but through Dr. John's classes, I see how
he makes them all intertwine not just for me but for my entire family.
Sam
has been adjusted since birth and has not been vaccinated. He
has been so healthy!
Maddie really has never been sick also,
which is a testament to how well chiropractic works for us. She is actually
terrified of her pediatrician because we only go once a year. Here's
one story I like to tell everyone. We all were in Target one day. Now,
Maddie is a Houdini in the shopping cart. She could get out of one because
she was so small. Well, Maddie fell out of the cart onto her head. I
immediately scooped her up, grabbed the kids, and ran out of the door.
I called you guys and Heather was like, "Bring her right over!" You all weren't even open at that time - you
were there, but the doors were locked. Dr. John checked her and did some
tests. He said she was going to be fine, but that he wanted to check
her first thing in the morning. I've told that story to so many people
and they always say, "Most people go to the emergency room or to the
pediatrician first. You always call your chiropractor." That's true -
I call him about everything because it's all related. Maddie
also was not vaccinated because I was educated about that
here, too.
Max
was two when he first came here. He had been on antibiotics
five months with multiple ear infections and our pediatrician said it
was "tube
time". After his first adjustment, his ears drained right there on the
table. Max has never had another ear infection. Jackson has
been the healthiest of them all. He is a stronger child because
of chiropractic care.
When Callan was five, she fell
off of her bike. I thought she was fine, but, two days later, she began
to wet the bed. I remembered in Dr. John's health class that wetting
the bed was an example of the interruption of service between the nervous
system and the bladder. I brought her in to be checked and sure enough
that's where she was subluxated!
The
fact that my kids get right up on the table to get adjusted
is just such a wonderful thing. My older two will talk about
going to the chiropractor. That's their solution! They understand
that it can be fixed without medications. To me what better
way to go through life than knowing "I
can take care of myself as long as my spine is in line."
I talk to everyone about chiropractic
whenever anyone tells me anything health-related.
