Over a year ago, I was going to a chiropractor on the South side of
Charlotte who was treating me for back pain. After every
visit, the pain was more intense. After several visits, she suggested making
x-rays. I said, 'No. I will go someplace else for x-rays." So I left in
pain.
Desperate
I called Miller Clinic for an appointment with a doctor who had me come
in immediately. I was so disappointed when he gave me a prescription
for pain pills and told me to get bed rest. He is supposed to be one
of the best. Then, there was another option which I don't even want to
think about.
I was still desperate for help when
two of my dear friends suggested I go to Matthews Chiropractic Clinic.
I have to admit I was a little reluctant after my past experience. But,
I did go see Dr. John and he made full x-rays immediately and said he
would call me later that evening. I was so shocked when he told me I
had fractures which were serious, but said he could help me though it
would take time. I felt real excited that I had finally found someone
that cared enough to help me. After 3 or 4 visits, I felt like a different
person and I was able to drive again.
The treatments are working. It has been a little
over 8 months now and I walk several miles a week. I have
lupus and these treatments have improved my immune system
along with my back.plus my
energy level has increased.
