15 months ago I injured my lower back while on a slippery
log trail. Since that day I have undergone drug therapy (hated
it & it did nothing) injections 2x on my SI joint under
fluoroscopy, and 8 months of physical therapy, ultra-sound
treatments, & deep heat. I still could not walk without
pain. I couldn’t run at all, even swimming began to
hurt. I was actually unable to walk for a couple of weeks & was
placed on strict bed rest. After a recent flare-up, my husband
recommended Dr. McKelvey’s practice when the orthopedist
another injection and the osteopath had failed. The last
thing I wanted was another injection. I was also afraid of
having to just live with the pain.
After 6 adjustments I feel 100% better. I’m not running…yet,
but I can swim and do yard work, ride my bike, and walk the
dog. I’m so happy that I gave Chiropractic care a try.
Drugs only masked my pain. This feels like healing is finally
happening. What a RELIEF!
